Last week, Dom prayed “Dear Lord please ensure that our BASIC siblings in Samoa have a fun, holy and safe holiday.” We continue to pray for Dom’s intention. This segment is for you. I Say We Pray – 1.10.09

Let’s pause from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives and come together with one mind and one heart as we pray:

• For those who have passed away in the recent tragedy in Samoa, Tonga and Indonesia. For all the families of those who have perished, those who are injured and those who are still missing. We pray with one heart for their souls, that they may rest in the peace of your love [BASICGIFT]
• For Grandma Latu and Grandma Ofa. That you may watch over them and give them peace Lord [Chervawn]

Let us take a moment to place ourselves in the presence of God, and to pray together, with one mind and one heart:

• “For all the people in relationships or coming out of one. That the Spirit of God may strengthen them and guide them in their times of trials and pain, that they may endure and seek the selfless love that pleases God” [David Ortiz]

Today as we allow the waves of life to wash over us, let’s gather in faith, united in conscience, and pray with one heart and one mind:

• For Youth Ministry in Australia. That we as ministers of Your word, may give You glory in all that we seek to do and uphold the virtues of Your love in even the smallest things. [Mandy]

Let us rest in the awesome presence of our heavenly Father, as we lift up the intentions of our hearts and pray with one mind and one soul:

• “For those people who are stuck in relationships where they are not sure what the right thing to do is. That You will grant us peace of mind, clarity of thought, fullness of spirit and a wealth of hope to keep perservering in faith and love towards your dream of who we are to be in this life” [Anonymous]
• “I pray that we are filled with peace to know that even though we strive to better our situtation we are in the exact place God has willed us to be. May we witness and receive God’s Grace in EVERY stage of our lives” [Anonymous]

For the wisdom to recognise when we are straying from God in our relationships and the freedom to fix it. As we continue to travel with courage through the journey of our lives, let’s bask in the fullness of God’s love and pray in communion with eachother and all the Saints and Angels in heaven:

• For all the HSC students. That they may have clarity and peace of mind during this stressful time [Sarah]
• For all those sitting mid-semester exams at uni. That they too may have clarity and peace [David]
• For our health and all the blessings we receive each day. We give You thanks and praise Lord and ask that we may never take these gifts for granted [Sarah]
